About the course
This major within QUT’s Bachelor of Information Technology focuses on enterprise computing for large organisations. You’ll learn to design and build enterprise-grade software and data analytics solutions, including modern integration and full-stack development across front-end, back-end and platforms. The course is industry-informed and prepares you to work with connected enterprise systems and digital ecosystems in business contexts as a Bachelor-level IT specialisation. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue enterprise-focused IT roles across industries that rely on large-scale digital platforms and integrated systems. Typical pathways include software developer, business analyst, solution architect, enterprise architect and product manager, working on application development, system integration, process and data modelling, and technology strategy. With experience, you may progress into hybrid business/technology leadership roles in enterprise environments with a Bachelor degree in IT & Computer Science.
