This degree builds core IT foundations in the first year, then develops specialist business analysis capability to design and evaluate IT solutions for organisations and end users. You’ll learn to analyse complex business systems, work with stakeholders and propose technology improvements that optimise user experience. A key feature is mandatory career development plus 60 days of paid industry placement through Federation Co-op, helping you graduate job-ready in IT and business analysis.

Graduates can pursue roles across business-focused IT and systems delivery, applying analysis and solution design skills in a wide range of organisations. Career pathways include systems analyst, business intelligence officer, integration analyst, systems designer, IT consultant, support officer, project manager, team leader, IT manager and systems manager.
