About the course
This honours degree develops advanced industrial design practice, focusing on creating sustainable products and experiences that respond to cultural, social and technological change. You’ll undertake studio-based learning and projects that strengthen research, prototyping and design thinking, preparing you to shape how products are conceived, made and used. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in industrial design. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles designing and developing products across consumer goods, furniture, manufacturing and emerging technology sectors. Typical pathways include industrial designer, product designer and production manager, working in design consultancies, in-house design teams or through independent practice. The honours component supports progression into more advanced design roles or further study in design research. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in industrial design.
