About the course

This Humanities and Social Sciences Education Major (Geography) builds the discipline knowledge and teaching practice needed to teach Geography in Years 11–12 and contribute across the Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum in Years 7–12. You’ll develop pedagogical approaches for secondary classrooms and broaden your capability by selecting a second teaching-area specialisation through a minor or wider HASS study. This is an undergraduate education specialisation within the Bachelor of Education (Secondary Education).
