About the course
The Bachelor of Human Services provides a broad introduction to community welfare and social justice, focusing on human behaviour, social problems and Australian social welfare systems. You’ll build practical skills for professional practice and develop a grounding in social equity and anti-oppressive approaches. The program is designed for work across diverse community settings as an undergraduate degree in human services. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles supporting individuals, families and communities across government, non-profit and private organisations. Career pathways may include case manager, community development worker, disability services worker, youth worker, family support worker, community corrections officer and child safety officer.
