About the course
This combined pathway lets you start a pharmacy career through integrated undergraduate and professional doctorate study. You’ll build foundations in human sciences and progress to advanced pharmacy practice and clinical learning, with practical training designed to prepare you for internship registration in Australia. The course is completed full-time over four years and is focused on professional preparation in pharmacy and pharmaceutical health at UWA. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared to work towards registration and careers across community and hospital pharmacy settings, supporting safe and effective medicine use and patient care. The program’s strong clinical and practical focus can also lead to roles in pharmacy services, health systems and medicines management.
