About the course
This degree explores current and emerging health challenges affecting communities locally and globally. You’ll build a strong foundation in health science and public health, develop practical skills to address population health and wellbeing, and focus on health equity. Choose one of four extended majors to specialise, and gain workplace experience aligned to your interests. This is an undergraduate Bachelor qualification in Health Sciences. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles focused on improving community health and wellbeing across government, non-profit and private sectors. Career options include environmental health officer, health promotion officer, health policy development roles, and project development and management positions.
