About the course
This four-year double degree combines geospatial information systems with professional surveying, building skills in spatial data, mapping and measurement for land and infrastructure projects. As the only South Australian university offering undergraduate surveying, Flinders prepares you for practical, technology-rich work using modern digital tools and lab facilities, supporting a pathway into a training agreement toward licensure in surveying at bachelor level. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue surveying and spatial roles across land development, construction, engineering and major infrastructure projects, working with planners, architects and legal and development teams. Work may span field and office settings using technologies from scanners to satellites.
