About the course
This hands-on Bachelor of Game Design focuses on the creative side of game-making and builds a strong understanding of the games industry, the design pipeline, and the history, aesthetics and social impact of games. You’ll create assets across game art, narrative and design while developing production skills using industry-standard software and game engines, including collaboration on real-world games and VFX projects. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for creative roles across the games and interactive media sector, applying skills in concept development, game art, narrative and design, and production workflows. You’ll be suited to work in multidisciplinary teams on game and VFX projects, with pathways into roles such as game designer, game artist, level or narrative designer, and related positions in digital content studios and creative technology industries.
