About the course
This Bachelor of Fine Arts develops creative and professional practice across a range of contemporary arts disciplines. You will choose a specialist major and build skills through studio-based learning, performance and production, supported by academic and industry-focused guidance. The course is delivered at QUT’s Kelvin Grove campus within the creative industries faculty, preparing graduates for professional creative practice in their chosen field at bachelor level. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue creative careers aligned to their major, including roles in performance, writing, animation, film and new media, music, visual arts, and technical production. Opportunities can span independent practice, arts organisations, festivals and events, screen and digital media, education and community arts, and production environments. Career directions vary by major, building a foundation for professional practice in the performing arts and related creative industries at bachelor level.
