About the course
This double degree combines creative fine arts study with a law honours qualification, letting you develop artistic practice alongside advanced legal knowledge. You’ll undertake extensive coursework across both disciplines while building skills in critical analysis, communication and professional practice. Delivered across QUT’s Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses, it is designed as an integrated undergraduate honours pathway in law and creative industries. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue careers spanning legal practice and creative industries, including roles such as lawyer (subject to admission requirements), legal policy or compliance professional, arts and media legal specialist, or creative practitioner working in writing, screen and new media. The combined program supports work in government, private firms, cultural organisations and the screen/arts sector as a Bachelor/Honours qualification in Law and Fine Arts. Preparing graduates for legal practice, paralegal, compliance, and public sector legal support roles.
