About the course
This finance double degree major is studied within Curtin’s LLB/BCom pathway, combining core legal training with commercial and industry-focused finance study. You’ll build legal knowledge and practice-ready skills while developing strong commercial awareness, with innovative teaching and early exposure to professional legal culture and ethics. Practical experience is supported through Curtin’s city campus facilities, including a digital moot court and the John Curtin Law Clinic.

Graduates can pursue careers that combine legal and finance expertise across private practice, corporate and government settings. Typical roles include lawyer (including criminal, family, human rights or mining law specialisations), in-house counsel, and finance roles such as financial dealer or broker.
