About the course
This degree prepares you to support recovery and improve wellbeing for people with chronic conditions, disability or injury using evidence-based exercise and rehabilitation strategies. You’ll build practical skills and contemporary knowledge for allied health contexts, with a strong focus on real-world application and client outcomes. It’s an undergraduate qualification in sports and exercise rehabilitation. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles applying exercise-based interventions across health, fitness and rehabilitation settings. Career paths may include exercise physiologist or exercise scientist (subject to professional pathways), allied health assistant, rehabilitation specialist, cardiac technologist, case worker, strength and conditioning specialist, sports administrator, or research-related roles. This is a bachelor-level pathway into sports and exercise rehabilitation careers. Preparing graduates for laboratory technician, research assistant, and science-based industry entry roles.
