About the course
This accredited degree combines exercise science and psychological science to explore how physical activity, behaviour and health interact. You’ll study human movement and body systems alongside the psychological principles that influence motivation and performance. Core study includes anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, strength and conditioning, motor control, and psychology assessment and research methods. It’s a Bachelor-level course focused on sport, exercise and wellbeing.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across sport, exercise and wellbeing settings that connect physical and mental health. Pathways include work in strength and conditioning support, exercise and performance environments, rehabilitation and athlete wellbeing services, and education-related roles. With further postgraduate study and required training, the psychology major can support progression toward psychologist pathways. It’s a Bachelor-level preparation for careers in sport and exercise-related psychological support.
