About the course
This hands-on, science-based degree builds knowledge and practical skills to support health and wellbeing, enhance athletic performance, and help prevent or manage injury and chronic conditions. You’ll learn through classroom study, laboratory work and industry placements, with flexibility to focus on clinical health or sport performance. Graduates are prepared for professional practice in exercise and sport science at bachelor level. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.

Graduates can pursue roles across exercise science, fitness and sport performance settings, applying evidence-based assessment and exercise programming to improve health and performance. Career pathways may include work in gyms and community fitness, health promotion and wellbeing programs, athlete development and strength and conditioning support, and assisting with injury prevention and rehabilitation in sport or clinical environments as a bachelor-qualified sport science professional.
