About the course
This degree builds a strong foundation in environmental science and the management of natural ecosystems and resources. You’ll study topics such as ecology, chemistry, hydrology, soil rehabilitation, climate change, coastal systems, geospatial science, conservation and restoration. The program emphasises field learning, spatial analysis tools (including drones) and research skills to support evidence-based environmental decision-making in a Bachelor-level environmental science qualification.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles supporting environmental assessment, monitoring and resource management across government, industry and consulting. Career pathways include work with catchment management agencies, parks and wildlife services, environmental consultancy, restoration and conservation projects, and waste and pollution control. The Bachelor degree prepares you for applied environmental science practice across natural and human-managed environments. Preparing graduates for laboratory technician, research assistant, and science-based industry entry roles.
