About the course
This honours year lets you deepen expertise in a chosen environmental science area while building advanced research and transferable skills. Supported by experienced academics, you complete research-focused study alongside coursework in experimental design, quantitative analysis, scientific communication and ethics. A substantial research project develops your ability to investigate an area of interest and prepares you for higher degrees and specialist roles. This is an honours-level Environmental Science qualification.
Career outcome
Graduates gain research capability and specialised environmental science knowledge suited to roles across government, consultancy and industry. Career paths may include environmental scientist or adviser, sustainability or environmental management officer, ecological risk or conservation support roles, and work in marine/freshwater, wildlife and biodiversity areas.
