About the course
Environmental Management at UWA is an undergraduate major focused on protecting and managing natural resources in a rapidly changing world. You’ll build an understanding of environmental policy, planning and decision-making, and how organisations and governments respond to sustainability challenges. The major supports applied learning that connects environmental science with management and real-world problem solving at bachelor level in environmental science. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.

Graduates with a major in Environmental Management can pursue roles that connect environmental outcomes with policy and organisational decision-making. Career directions include environmental policy and planning, environmental economics and policy analysis, sustainability and resource management, and advisory roles across government, consulting and industry.
