About the course
This future-focused double degree major combines environmental engineering with environmental biology and ecology to address challenges such as climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss and water scarcity. You’ll build capability to analyse environmental systems and design sustainable, practical solutions, with flexibility to choose optional units to suit your interests. It is studied within the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Science double degree in environmental and ecological disciplines.
Career outcome
Graduates with skills spanning engineering and environmental sciences can pursue work across conservation and biodiversity, environmental consulting, mine rehabilitation, renewable energy, sustainability and water management. Preparing graduates for graduate engineer, project support, and technical design roles across engineering sectors.
