About the course
This double degree combines environmental science with accredited legal studies to build skills for tackling complex environmental challenges in policy, industry and the courts. You’ll develop scientific capability through modern labs and field-based learning while gaining a strong foundation in legal reasoning and practice-focused experiences such as mooting. Graduate with two separate qualifications in Environment and Law for broad career flexibility. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.

Graduates can pursue roles across legal practice, government and environment-focused industries, combining regulatory and scientific expertise. Career paths may include solicitor or barrister, policy adviser, environmental scientist, environmental risk analyst, sustainability officer, landcare or parks manager, consultant, researcher or public servant.
