About the course
This combined pathway program starts with a Diploma in Entrepreneurship that provides a structured entry into QUT study while building entrepreneurial thinking and foundational business capabilities. After completing the diploma, you are automatically offered entry to the Bachelor of Communication, with diploma units credited toward the degree. You then complete the remaining bachelor credit points and select a communication major to shape your study direction in media and communication.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles that combine entrepreneurship with communication practice across creative industries, media and organisational settings. The pathway supports careers in content and communication roles with a business and venture focus, such as communications assistant/coordinator, digital content and social media roles, or project and marketing support positions, as well as starting or contributing to new ventures. Outcomes align with a bachelor-level qualification in media and communication with an entrepreneurship pathway.
