About the course
This double degree combines electronic and computer systems engineering with computer science, building skills across hardware, embedded and networked systems, and the software that controls them. You’ll study how computer systems are structured and designed, alongside computing foundations and programming, preparing you for interdisciplinary work at the interface of electronics and software in a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in engineering and computing. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles that bridge engineering and computing, such as computer or network engineer, network designer, and engineering specialist. Career pathways span embedded systems, digital and electronics design, networked and connected devices, and software-controlled hardware solutions across technology and engineering organisations. Outcomes align with a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in electronic/computer systems engineering and computer science. Preparing graduates for software development, IT support, data analysis, and technology consultancy entry roles.
