About the course

This internationally accredited combined degree qualifies graduates to be recognised as a professional engineer. You can specialise in civil and structural, electrical and electronics, or mechanical engineering, studying online or on campus full-time or part-time. The bachelor stage builds core engineering foundations, then you progress to master’s-level study, completing an advanced design project and a research thesis with themes including sustainability, teamwork, design, research and leadership.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue engineering roles across multiple sectors depending on specialisation. Civil and structural graduates may work in design and construction, infrastructure development, water supply and treatment, roads/traffic and project management. Electrical and electronics graduates may work in electronics, renewables, power generation and distribution, manufacturing, process control and consulting. Mechanical graduates may work in design, machinery, manufacturing/fabrication, mining, oil and gas, consulting and project management.
