About the course

This honours engineering degree develops the skills to design, build and program intelligent robots and autonomous systems. You’ll combine mechanical design, electronics and software to create machines that can move, sense and make decisions, supported by practical projects and industry-relevant facilities. The program is delivered in person at Tonsley and prepares you for professional undergraduate engineering practice in robotics and automation. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.

Graduates can pursue roles developing autonomous and automated technologies across industries being reshaped by robotics and AI. Career paths include robotics engineer and automation engineer, working on control systems, sensor integration, smart manufacturing, logistics automation, and defence-related engineering.
