About the course

The Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Transfer Program) introduces mining engineering through studies in mine design, supervision and management of coal, mineral and metal mines and related infrastructure, with an emphasis on minimising environmental impacts. You’ll build core civil and mining engineering knowledge across the first two years at the University of Newcastle before transferring to complete the final two years at UNSW or the University of Wollongong. This is an undergraduate engineering transfer pathway in mining.
