About the course
This double degree combines engineering design and problem-solving with a comprehensive legal education. You’ll develop technical capability alongside an understanding of how law shapes innovation, industry and society. The engineering component includes access to modern labs and software plus 12 weeks of industry experience, building practical skills for professional practice in both fields at bachelor honours level. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers where engineering and law intersect, or specialise in either discipline. Opportunities include technology and intellectual property practice, regulatory and compliance roles, government and policy work, in-house legal advising for engineering and infrastructure firms, and private legal practice. This combination can also support pathways into advocacy and legal services alongside engineering project and consultancy environments at bachelor honours level.
