About the course

UNE’s Bachelor of Education (Secondary Arts) prepares you to teach in secondary schools, combining education theory with practical classroom skills and professional experience. You’ll learn to plan lessons, support diverse learners and create inclusive learning environments, with flexible study options available on campus or online. This undergraduate education degree focuses on building capability as a secondary arts teacher. The programme develops classroom practice, curriculum knowledge, and educational psychology for teaching professions.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue roles as secondary school teachers in arts-related subject areas, working in government, independent or Catholic schools, and other youth education settings.
