About the course
UNSW’s Bachelor of Education (Primary) (Honours) prepares you to teach in primary schools through a blend of education theory and classroom practice. You’ll build skills in lesson planning, inclusive teaching, and supporting diverse learners, alongside supervised professional experience in schools. The honours component develops research and reflective practice to strengthen your impact as a teacher in primary education at bachelor honours level. The programme develops classroom practice, curriculum knowledge, and educational psychology for teaching professions.

Graduates are prepared for careers as primary school teachers and education professionals working with children in early and middle primary years.
