About the course
The Bachelor of Design / Media at UNSW combines creative design practice with media-making and critical thinking. You’ll develop skills in contemporary visual communication and digital media through studio-based projects, experimentation and collaboration. The degree supports building a professional portfolio while exploring how design and media shape culture, audiences and emerging technologies in today’s creative industries. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.

Graduates can pursue roles across design and media industries, applying creative, technical and strategic skills to real-world briefs.
