About the course
This Bachelor of Design (Landscape Architecture) major develops skills to plan and design outdoor environments across urban and natural contexts. You’ll build design, spatial and representation capabilities through studio learning and interdisciplinary Impact Lab experiences, with opportunities to complete projects that may involve off‑campus activities. This is an undergraduate design qualification focused on landscape architecture within the built environment discipline. The programme combines engineering fundamentals, design projects, and industry-ready technical problem-solving skills.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles designing and shaping public and private landscapes, contributing to parks, streetscapes, campuses and urban renewal projects. Career paths may include landscape design and documentation, site planning support, community-focused place projects and work with multidisciplinary design teams in consultancies, developers or government. This is an undergraduate design qualification preparing for built environment practice in landscape architecture.
