About the course
This five-year double degree combines landscape architecture with an accredited engineering honours qualification. You will build design capability through studio-style Impact Lab units and a landscape architecture major, alongside core engineering studies and your chosen engineering specialisation. Work Integrated Learning is embedded, including a requirement for 60 days of approved industry experience. This is an undergraduate double degree in the built environment and engineering disciplines.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers that connect designed landscapes and engineered systems across the public and private sectors. Opportunities include landscape architect, urban/landscape designer, infrastructure and civil project roles, environmental and water-sensitive design teams, and multidisciplinary consulting. The engineering component is professionally accredited, supporting pathways toward professional engineering practice in Australia and internationally. This is an undergraduate honours-level pathway spanning landscape architecture and engineering.
