About the course
This course builds creative and technical capabilities for game development, combining design thinking with practical production skills. You’ll explore the theory and creation of game experiences and develop a portfolio through blended and on-campus study. The degree is delivered by UC’s Faculty of Arts and Design and can be studied in Canberra or South Bank, Queensland as a Bachelor-level qualification in game development. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across the games and interactive media industries, applying skills in game concept development, production workflows and digital design. Career paths may include game designer, level designer, interactive media designer, junior producer or related content-creation roles, with opportunities in studios, digital agencies and creative tech teams. This Bachelor-level qualification supports entry to professional practice in game development and interactive design.
