About the course
QUT’s Bachelor of Design (Fashion Design) builds your creative and technical skills to develop a distinctive fashion design identity. You’ll work in industry-standard studios on real-world briefs, exploring contemporary practice, ethics and sustainability, and emerging digital technologies. Guided by experienced staff and industry mentors, you can gain broader experience through projects, exchanges and internships. This is a bachelor degree in fashion design. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers across fashion design and related creative industries, including design and product development, studio and brand roles, styling and creative direction, and roles in ethical and sustainable fashion practice. The course’s project-based briefs and portfolio development support pathways into independent labels, collaboration with established designers, and work with fashion retailers and media platforms.
