About the course
This fashion design major within QUT’s Bachelor of Design develops creative and technical skills to design, prototype and communicate fashion outcomes. You’ll build capability through studio practice, design fabrication, visualisation and emerging technologies, alongside impact lab units and complementary study options. Learning is supported by intensive activities and project-based experiences. This is a Bachelor-level programme in fashion and design practice. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles across the fashion and design sector, including fashion designer, product or range developer, design assistant, pattern or sample development support, and roles in styling, fashion communication and creative production. Experience with studio projects and impact-led learning can support work in brands, small labels, or broader creative industries.
