About the course
This flexible Bachelor of Design builds practical, industry-ready skills through project-based learning and collaboration with students from other disciplines. You’ll use industry-standard equipment and software while developing a professional portfolio. In your final year you complete a capstone unit focused on interdisciplinary, design-led projects supported by Curtin’s industry links. This is an undergraduate degree in design and visual art. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.

Graduates can pursue roles across creative and design industries, using a portfolio developed through hands-on projects. Career paths may include graphic or fashion designer, creative director, illustrator, photographer or photojournalist, production manager, design educator, or starting a creative business.
