About the course
This double degree combines interaction design with information technology, building both creative design capability and technical computing skills. You’ll learn to design user-centred digital experiences while developing the IT foundations to build, evaluate and improve technology solutions. Hands-on projects and industry-relevant learning prepare you to apply design and tech across creative and commercial contexts. This is a bachelor-level pathway spanning design and IT. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles bridging design and technology, applying user experience and interaction design alongside IT knowledge. Career directions include interactive media designer, usability specialist, information architect and graphic designer, with opportunities in advertising, education, gaming and cultural institutions.
