About the course
This double degree combines architecture design with urban and regional planning, building skills to shape buildings, places and cities. You’ll study design studio and impact lab units alongside urban development, analysis and professional practice, then focus more strongly on planning in the later years. The program includes substantial credit across both components and integrates industry-oriented learning. It is a Bachelor/Honours qualification in architecture and urban development.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across architecture and the planning/urban development sectors, supporting the design and management of built environments. Opportunities include architectural design support roles, urban and regional planning, development assessment, strategic and community planning, urban design, and consultancy work in government or private practice. Pathways also support progression to accredited postgraduate architecture study. This is a Bachelor/Honours pathway for careers in architecture and urban planning.
