About the course
The Bachelor of Design develops creative and practical design skills to help address contemporary real-world challenges. You’ll build capability in design thinking, communication and making, with learning delivered on campus and through blended study. The course is offered through UC’s School of Design & Built Environment and can be studied at UC campuses in Canberra and Queensland. This is an undergraduate design qualification. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across the design and creative industries, applying user-focused design thinking to develop visual, digital and physical outcomes. Career directions may include work in design studios, creative agencies, in-house design teams, community organisations or entrepreneurial practice. The course supports building a portfolio and professional skills suited to entry-level design roles. This is an undergraduate qualification in design. Preparing graduates for graphic design, multimedia production, advertising, and creative studio roles.
