About the course
The Bachelor of Data Science (Professional) builds strong foundations in data science, statistics and computing, with a focus on practical skills for real-world data problems. You’ll learn to work with data end to end, from acquisition and management to analysis and communication of insights, while developing industry-ready experience through a professional degree structure. This is an undergraduate degree in IT & Computer Science. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles where data-driven decision-making is central, including data analyst, data scientist, business intelligence analyst, data engineer (junior) or analytics consultant. You may work across technology, finance, health, government, retail and other sectors using statistical and computational techniques to extract insights from data and communicate results to stakeholders.
