About the course
Deakin’s Bachelor of Cyber Security (Honours) is a specialised four-year degree focused on protecting computer systems, networks and programs. You build advanced skills in identifying, analysing and managing cyber security challenges, including computer crime and digital forensics. The course includes work-integrated learning options, a capstone industry experience and an honours research project in the final year, strengthening applied and research capability in cyber security at bachelor honours level.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across government, consultancies and private industry where cyber threats are managed and investigated. You’ll be prepared for work in areas such as cyber security operations, threat and vulnerability analysis, digital forensics and incident response, as well as security testing and assurance.
