About the course
This five-year double degree combines criminology and criminal justice with psychology, including an honours year. You’ll study crime, law and justice systems alongside psychological theory and research methods, building analytical skills to understand offending, victimisation and rehabilitation. The program prepares you for evidence-based work across justice and behavioural science settings as a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in criminology and psychology. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles across criminal justice and behavioural science, such as policy or research assistant, community or correctional program officer, youth justice or victim support worker, crime prevention and rehabilitation roles, or pathways to further professional training in psychology. The combined honours qualification supports careers in government, NGOs and research organisations at the intersection of criminology and psychology.
