About the course
This combined degree links criminology and psychological science to build an understanding of human behaviour in criminal justice contexts. You’ll study criminal behaviour, victimology, criminal justice processes and criminal psychology, while developing research and applied skills through hands-on, project-based learning. The program prepares you for diverse roles across justice and allied sectors with a strong behavioural science foundation at bachelor level. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across criminal justice, community and research settings, using behavioural science and criminology knowledge to support individuals and systems. Career paths may include caseworker, juvenile justice officer, criminologist, mediator, careers counsellor or market researcher. Those aiming to become a practising psychologist will need to complete additional accredited postgraduate study beyond this bachelor qualification in psychology and criminology.
