About the course
Study how crime occurs and how justice systems respond, combining criminological theory with practical, industry-relevant learning. You’ll examine criminal law, criminal justice processes and research methods, and build skills to analyse and address contemporary crime problems. The program culminates in a final-year industry research project that integrates theory and applied skills. This is an undergraduate bachelor program in criminology and criminal justice. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.

Graduates are prepared for roles analysing, preventing and responding to crime across government and industry. Career pathways may include criminologist, policy or research officer, intelligence or compliance roles, community safety and crime prevention work, and positions supporting policing, courts, corrections and related justice agencies.
