About the course
This double degree combines criminology and criminal justice with legal training to prepare you for work across the criminal justice and broader regulatory sectors. You’ll study law alongside specialist criminology topics such as policing, corrections, cybercrime, forensic psychology and interpersonal violence, building skills for practice and policy roles. The program includes structured professional experience and leads to an undergraduate qualification in law and criminology.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers across criminal law and the justice system, including criminal defence or prosecution pathways and related legal practice areas. Career directions also extend to policing, investigations, regulatory and compliance enforcement, policy and strategic planning, advocacy and victim support. The combined study supports roles in anti-corruption, intelligence, child protection, youth justice and research, as a bachelor-level pathway in law and criminology.
