About the course
This one-year Honours program lets you deepen your creative practice through an intensive supervised project. You’ll work closely with a UniSC School of Creative Industries supervisor to undertake a research project, produce an original creative work, or address a real-world brief with an industry partner. The program strengthens advanced research and communication skills through coursework plus a thesis or creative work and exegesis in the creative industries at Honours level. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue advanced roles across creative and cultural industries where research-led practice is valued. Opportunities include creative communications, screen and media, performance creation, multimedia and digital entertainment, design and marketing, and video game/interactive design. The Honours experience also supports pathways into research or further study by building independent project capability and critical analysis skills within creative industries at Bachelor (Honours) level.
