About the course
This double degree combines creative industries study with a qualifying law honours program. You complete 528 credit points spanning creative industries core and complementary studies, a selected creative major, and extensive law core and elective units, plus the QUT You component. Study is delivered across Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove, with early years blending both disciplines before a stronger law focus later in the course. This is a Bachelor/Honours program in law and creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers that bridge legal capability with creative-sector expertise. The law honours component supports pathways into legal practice and related roles across government, corporate and community settings, while the creative industries component develops industry knowledge in areas such as writing, fashion communication, screen content or interaction design. Roles may include legal practice and advisory work, policy and compliance, IP/media-related support, and creative project roles informed by legal training.
