About the course

This degree develops advanced practical acting skills and specialised knowledge for stage and screen. You’ll train in acting craft with focused voice and body work, supported by plays, readings and learning resources designed to challenge and inspire. Regular performance opportunities help you build confidence, creative independence and a professional approach as an emerging actor and performance maker in performing arts at bachelor level. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.

Career outcome

Graduates may pursue work as actors and performers across theatre, film and television, including main-stage and independent productions. The course supports pathways into self-devised performance making and related creative roles such as producing, directing and playwriting, as well as voice-based work for radio and voice-over.
