About the course

This Computing (Advanced) major in Curtin’s Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) builds strong programming and theoretical foundations while offering a flexible, high-achiever pathway with research engagement, leadership and entrepreneurship opportunities. You’ll study core computing topics (such as C++, Java and Linux), undertake work-integrated learning through industry and/or research, and complete a final-year capstone project within the Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in IT & Computer Science.

Career outcome

Graduates are prepared for roles across software and ICT, combining practical experience with advanced study and a capstone project.
