About the course
The Bachelor of Computer Science at UOW builds core computing knowledge with hands-on programming and problem solving. You’ll explore software engineering concepts and modern areas such as mobile development, big data, security, multimedia and gaming. The course is designed to develop practical skills for industry-relevant projects and real-world computing challenges in an undergraduate IT & Computer Science degree. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across software and data-driven industries, including software developer/engineer, web or app developer, data scientist, database administrator, cyber security analyst, network architect and AI engineer.
