About the course
This Dean’s Scholar stream of UOW’s Bachelor of Computer Science focuses on artificial intelligence and big data to help you solve complex, data-driven problems. You’ll build strong programming and system design skills and learn how to apply modern computing methods across industries. Designed for high-achieving students, the degree is delivered on campus at Wollongong as an undergraduate computer science program. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles applying AI and data-driven techniques in technology teams and research-led environments. Typical pathways include artificial intelligence engineer, machine learning engineer, data engineer, data architect, or business intelligence analyst, as well as product and project roles in digital organisations. This prepares you for an undergraduate career in IT and computer science, including advanced analytics and AI-focused work. Preparing graduates for software development, IT support, data analysis, and technology consultancy entry roles.
